STL’s C.V. Starr Professor of Law Francis G. Snyder has donated his 580 volume collection of original European Court Reports (“ECR”) to the STL Law Library. The ECR includes authentic texts of all judgments of the European Court of Justice since 1954, internal reports by judges to the Court in connection with each reported judgment, and all Advocate General Opinions regarding the public interest implicated in each case. Professor Snyder previously arranged for the entire collection to be beautifully bound in the Court’s official color, a royal blue-purple. Professor Snyder began his collection during his early years of teaching at Warwick University and continued building the collection during his years at University College London, the European University Institute, Aix-Marseille University in France, and the London School of Economics.
