BIO

Zhang Shuanggen is Associate Professor at Peking University Law School, where he also serves as Vice Director of the Center for Real Estate Law. He is an expert in the fields of property law, contract law, the law of obligations, commercial law, real estate law, and private law in Germany and the EU. He has published widely, including multiple books and many articles. He has also translated several books about German law into Chinese. He has taught Chinese law at Niigata University and served as a visiting scholar or lecturer at Bucerius Law School, the law school of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg German and International Civil Procedure Law Institute. He has a Dr. iur. from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, a LL.M. in Civil Law from Renmin University, and a LL.B. from China University of Political Science and Law.
