With the mission of representing STL to participate in various swimming competitions, STL Swimming Team also carries out internal training activities, and is committed to encouraging more students to participate in swimming!

STL Swimming Team won the championship in 2020 Freshman Cup Swimming Competition of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, and has steadily won many medals every year since then! We not only have unique strength in the competition, but also continuously improve our competitiveness with professional training and team building, and maintain the energetic atmosphere within STL.

STL Swimming Team carries the mission of public welfare and is committed to efficient swimming teaching. We have a professional team which is composed of experienced professional athletes. They know the rules of swimming well, and use inspiring metaphors and thoughtful teaching plans to help students master the skills easily. Not only do we encourage more people to join the swimming, but we also have a relaxing way to communicate with team members. We watch the sunset during swimming and create a variety of fun in pool socializing!

STL Badminton Team was officially established in August 2021. Our goal is to promote the sport of badminton in STL, bring happiness to others, and escort the physical and mental health of teachers and students of STL.

The main tasks of STL Badminton Team are: organizing badminton salons to help teachers and students improve their badminton skills, participating in various badminton competitions for STL, and selecting players to compete in the Freshman Cup Badminton Competition and other badminton events in Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School.

Founded in 2008, STL Football Team is composed of faculty members and students. With courage and confidence, we enjoy playing football with others. The fun of football is not only to win, but also the happiness, sweating experience and satisfaction in the process. We share the joy of life with seniors and teachers in our team. We are a group of Kickers who love sports and easy-going. Welcome to join our big family!

STL Table Tennis Team is a sport club composing of more than 100 table tennis enthusiasts, and has won the first place in the 2019 Freshman Cup Competition, the third place in the 2020 Freshman Cup Competition, the first place in the 2021 Freshman Cup Competition, and the second place in the 2022 Freshman Cup Competition. There are not only members who have received professional table tennis training, but also newcomers who start out of curiosity. No matter what level is, STL Table Tennis Team welcomes all “Fat Ball” enthusiasts to play table tennis together in the new semester and feel the table tennis spirit of “never give up if ping pong doesn’t hit the ground”!

Training time:   Every Saturday from 20:00-21:00  (Depending on the number of people and training content, the maximum time is no more than 2 hours)

Place: Peking University Mirror Lake Table Tennis Court

Training content:  Entry-level training for forehand and backhand; Tactical guidance in singles and doubles based on actual combat (For students with a good foundation)

Training preparation: Comfortable sneakers & light training clothes suitable for sports (it will be a little hot after exercising in the stadium) If you have a table tennis racket, it is better to bring your own racket. If you don’t have it, you can come to the stadium in advance to borrow it (10 RMB per racket).

STL Volleyball Team is a team full of enthusiasm and friendship. With professional training and exercising methods, our principle is to meet friends, strengthen the body and resist fatigue!

Training time:

Twice or three times a week with flexible arrangements.

With the idea of meeting friends with ball, STL Basketball Team prepares for the Freshman Cup Competition and other competitions every year. At the same time, we actively communicate with other units outside the university by conducting basketball activities. We are proud that with every team member’s efforts, we won the runner-up in 2023 Freshman Cup Competition. STL Basketball Team is committed to building a united and friendly family, so that everyone can sweat and release on the court after intense study and work. We welcome all students who love basketball and are eager to challenge to join our team and enjoy the joy of basketball together!

The original intention of the establishment of STL Snooker Team is to enrich the study life of STL students. We are committed to allowing all players to meet friends with the ball and release the pressure of studying while playing the ball. Having fun is the primary goal of our team.

Training time: Irregular training and flexible arrangement.
