Speaker Bio:

Carole Basri, a visiting professor at STL and a long-time consultant with the law firm Dickstein Shapiro LLP, holds a B.A. from Barnard College and a J.D. degree from New York University. She is President of the Corporate Lawyering Group LLC, which advises on corporate compliance programs. She has created comprehensive compliance and ethics programs for major corporations, including the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, Cendant, Benjamin Moore & Co. and Dannon Inc. In addition, she has practiced with several leading law firms, served as General Counsel of China On Line, and served as Executive Director of the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She is an expert on corporate compliance and the roles and responsibilities of in-house counsel.
