Peking University Transnational Law Review

The Peking University Transnational Law Review ("STL Law Review") is an English-language academic journal, edited and operated independently by students of the Peking University School of Transnational Law ("STL").

Established in 2011, STL Law Review has been committed to serving as a bridge between Chinese and international legal communities. Its scholarly contributions have been widely recognized in the global legal community and have played an important role in STL's legal education.

To date, STL Law Review has successfully published five volumes, featuring 55 outstanding articles authored by prominent scholars, legal practitioners, emerging academics, and STL students. As a highly regarded academic platform, we provide a significant forum for the exchange of legal scholarship.

The print version is now included by leading law libraries and law firms worldwide, with previous issues also accessible online through HeinOnline and Chinalawinfo.

The Peking University Transnational Law Review Blog ("Blog") serves as a important platform for STL students to convey their unique perspectives on Chinese legal issues to the global community. Since its establishment in 2019, the Blog has curated and published 31 distinguished works under the guidance of Professor Susan Finder.

Following the reorganization in August 2024, STL Law Review will relaunch in an annual format, advancing its legal journey with a renewed vision. STL Law Review will collaborate with the Blog to further enhance STL's academic platform, broaden the scope and depth of academic discourse and attract distinguished legal studies from around the world.
