FDI Moot in Shenzhen is one of the most prestigious and well-regarded competitions in the field of international investment arbitration. Organized by a consortium of legal institutions, it attracts participants from top law schools globally, with hundreds of teams competing to showcase their expertise in complex investment disputes. The competition simulates arbitration proceedings under the rules of major arbitral bodies, where teams argue both claimant and respondent positions in fictitious cases involving states and foreign investors.
